To celebrate our first anniversary, we’re launching a local map that lets you experience Higashi-Umeda from the “back side.”

The map will be available at the hotel front desk and at participating shops.

 

 

 

 

 

Rather than a sightseeing guide, it’s designed to encourage experiences that blend naturally into the everyday life of the neighborhood.
Back-alley spots, locally rooted shops, and places where unexpected discoveries happen — the map visualizes the real temperature and rhythm of the area.

 

The first edition theme is “Freshness.”

We’ve selected ten restaurants and shops that opened around the same time as TONES OSAKA — or within about a year — places that are shaping the future of Higashi-Umeda.

A new café bar opens on the 3rd floor lounge at TONES OSAKA

 

We serve original sweets and cocktails inspired by Japanese flavors and sensibilities.
Drop by as a café during the day or as a bar at night — an easy, flexible space to suit any time or mood.

After wandering the backstreets and local spots of Higashi-Umeda, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to stop in without thinking.
Like a small hideaway tucked inside the hotel, it sits naturally along your URA-UME walk.

The TONES OSAKA 3F Lounge will conclude its current bar and dining style on Friday, January 30, 2026.
Beginning Sunday, February 1, 2026, the lounge will reopen as a renewed bar,
focusing on sweets and cocktails.
